0:06[Applause] hello and welcome to this episode of authentic achievements where I’m joined

0:13by The Fabulous Daniel Gomez Daniel welcome thank you for having me Kim I’m honored to be here today oh I’m so

0:20looking forward to this there is so so much exciting stuff that we can get talking to about your fantastic Journey

0:26so far but before we get into that let me share with the audience a little bit more about you so Daniel is an

0:31award-winning keynote speaker business coach executive coach corporate trainer and podcast of the Year recipient Daniel

0:38speaks and coaches at events all over the world his passion is to elevate businesses and entrepreneurs to achieve

0:44their true potential through their training and coaching programs Daniel has empowered his clients to achieve

0:49epic success in their personal and professional lives he’s an international best-selling author his book The Makings

0:55of a Millionaire Mind was published to give people the right approach the right attit itude and the right heart in

1:01becoming a millionaire God’s way so that they don’t self- implode or self-destruct Daniel’s high energy and

1:07ability to unlock the untapped potential in people has made him a highly sought out keynote speaker and corporate

1:13trainer for top organizations including the US Air Force he was honored with the best of 2019 2020 and 2021 awards for

1:21his training and business coaching and he and his wife Mari Gomez believe in giving back and supporting women whose

1:27lives have been impacted by breast cancer through their non nonprofit the marry strong Foundation Daniel what an

1:34amazing amazing journey I don’t know where to start but could you share with

1:40us kind of your journey so far and what got you into doing business coaching well I never imagined I was going to be

1:46a business coach and a speaker and God has a way of putting things in perspective for us sometimes we have our

1:52plan and we’re going 100 miles an hour and then we get a little roadblock and in 2017 my wife was diagnosed with

1:58breast cancer and when she was diagnosed with breast cancer I was saving enough money to buy my own dealership I worked at a

2:04Chevrolet dealership here in the states and just um my wife had made a decision

2:10to have a double masectomy and you being a woman you understand if a woman loses her breast not easy so she got depressed

2:17on me and that was the Tipping Point and the pivotal point of where everything changed for all of our Lives because I

2:23ended up resigning to take care of her because she was depressed but little did I know that I would never go back to the automotive industry that I would

2:30become the motivational speaker Daniel Gomez inspires and from there I never realized because I had 100 employees I

2:37ran a Chevrolet dealership for many many years almost two decades sometimes you don’t realize what you do because you’re

2:42in the forest so much but I really had a chance to step out of the forest Kim and as I stepped out of the forest I I

2:49realized I knew more about business leadership and everything than I re gave myself credit for because people would

2:55talk to me about coaching and I’d be like I’m not a coach but then

3:00God started showing me Daniel you know this and I never understood I thought

3:06everybody was getting paid to speak in 2018 and 2019 we we did phenomenal we hit over six figures both years in a row

3:13I thought everybody was a paid speaker but to my surprise when covid happened

3:19we lost over man close to $50,000 in paid speaking engagements and that’s

3:24when we started our sticker shock speaking Academy right here and we had speakers come in from all over the world

3:30in July of 2018 during Co 2020 I mean during covid because they thought the

3:36world was going to be lock down for a couple of weeks and you know it was lockdown forever but Texas was open the

3:41big state of Texas was open so it was San Antonio and God said you need to show these people how to become paid speakers and the rest is history and

3:48I’ve never looked back I love it and I think you’re right you know I think

3:53sometimes we think we’re on the right path and and you know I always say it’s the it’s the plot twist moment it

3:59doesn’t quite go where you where you were going but you know as the old saying says when God closes a door

4:06somewhere he opens a window and we just have to like look for that don’t we and I love that actually you took the you

4:13took that lesson and then you looked at how do you how do you give back how do

4:18you have a greater impact uh on the wider world and I just love to ask first

4:24how’s your wife now well she’s alive she’s telling me what to do now she runs the house now and so so many times in

4:30life we don’t realize that we take a lot of things for granted we take a lot of things for granted and what we take for

4:37granted we lose sometimes and I was fortunate enough to where God was able to open my heart and my eyes to realize

4:43like either you have put it this way now that I do business coaching everybody

4:49always either they complain or they right they’re upset

4:55about things and the truth is you need to change you as a leader need to change

5:00you as a business owner need to change you as a human being need to change in order for things to change the outer

5:06world is a reflection of our inner world and as I realized that Daniel needed to change man it was just it was amazing

5:13that I didn’t realize how much I needed to change though yeah sense it makes

5:20total sense it’s um it really resonates cuz you know me and my me and my little girl every day

5:27we we spend um a bit of time doing what we’re great for because we realized that we were taking a lot of things for

5:33granted and focusing on what we didn’t have yet instead of being grateful for what we had already um and I think

5:40sometimes I’ve certainly seen it kind of in what I do where you know every it’s always somebody else’s fault you know so

5:47we we go to organizations I’ve got a cultural problem so then you’ve got a You’ you’ve got a leadership problem

5:53your your culture reflects you as the leader so if you don’t like what it’s

5:58doing you’ve got to look in here here not out there because it is purely going to be a reflection of what what you’re

6:04doing and it doesn’t matter what you say you’re doing it’s what you’re actually doing that counts so people people and

6:11buy into not just what you’re saying but what you’re doing and how you’re being and how you’re showing up in the world didn’t they yes and and the beautiful

6:17thing is is I embrac the identity of of of being a speaker and then being a coach and uh people were coming to me

6:25for advice and like well how do you know that and see I I I saw my Chevrolet ring

6:30we would go to business school and I I said man like I guess I do know more about business and then as as as sticker

6:37shock started exploding it’s like no that’s the problem people have the mindset that I want to be a speaker so

6:44they fail because they never want to build a speaking business and the whole approach that I took from n giggo was

6:50I’m not just going to be a speaker I’m going to build a speaking business yeah so when you come to our sticker shock speaking Academy we don’t just teach you

6:56how to speak we teach you hey from A to B what’s the road map to how do I find

7:01my speaking engagements how do I interact with the event planner what does a speaker application look like and then we put you on an amazing stage that

7:08we invested thousands on and we record you we give you all the tangibles and it’s it’s really amazing to see how some

7:15of our amazing um students and attendees come like Anthony par Tony Pard came from one September to the next September

7:22over $75,000 in paid honorariums Michelle Hoskins soon as she left two

7:28weeks later she she got first $5,000 paid speaking engagement so it’s phenomenal since then Michelle has made

7:34over a quarter million dollars speaking it’s like it’s just it’s it’s it’s it’s powerful it’s one thing when you do it

7:41but when you’re your people that you’re coaching and mentoring do it so I just kind of embrace the identity of business

7:46coach and once I did it’s like the doors opened up and I started seeing everything kind of line up and I’m like

7:53wow now I was open to the idea and ladies and gentlemen I want you to understand this what idea are you

7:58closing to what idea has God put in your heart but you’re not receiving it

8:05there’s opportunities all around you but you’re not seeing it because you’re close to the idea you’re close to the

8:10concept so how can you receive that blessing if you’re not open to that idea or concept and so many of us we block

8:17our own blessings oh we do we do we’re we’re Our Own Worst Enemy aren’t we

8:23of and you doing that work that journey to to become our own best friend is

8:32crucial and it allows us to then open ourselves up to you what are the things we’re saying I can’t do uh or that’s not

8:39me or that’s not I’m not worthy of that that wouldn’t be where I’m sitting because if they’re still cropping up

8:45then that’s probably what we need to look at isn’t it and I I kind of I’ve learned in life that everything that happens to us is either a lesson a

8:51blessing or both and so in the moments I don’t feel blessed I look for the lesson because that’s where the blessing is um

8:58because because we need to keep that Evolution don’t we and I love that sticker shock is helping people to share

9:06stories because I think that’s the one thing that connects us all globally irrelevant of our age our race our

9:11culture we teach and we learn through stories so being able to to help people

9:17share their story must be the most amazing feeling it’s beautiful because you got people that they don’t one thing

9:25that I didn’t realize and I’ll be honest with you is is is I was looking in a mirror one day as my wife was recovering

9:30she had eight major surgeries and on surgery number three I remembered I really looked in the mirror for myself

9:35Kim and I didn’t like who Daniel was I didn’t like who was inside of me I had a lot of pain a lot of hurt a lot of Shame

9:43a lot of guilt a lot of regret and I realize that when people get on stage and speak sometimes they just start

9:49crying because they don’t realize I call right in my book The Makings of a Millionaire Mind I call it you sweep it

9:55under the rug we sweep so much stuff under the rug and we sweep and we sweep

10:00and we sweep but the mistake that we make as human beings is we think that oh I just have what I swept today in last

10:07week no you got 10 years a decade of compressed dirt so just imagine as a

10:13woman you have long hair imagine sooner or later in your shower it’s G to get

10:19clogged up it doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter how much you take care of your hair the fact is over time it’s going to

10:26clog because little by little your hair clogs up it doesn’t happen in one day in one week maybe in six months you got to

10:32get a draino or you got to kind of get a plumber to clean out your shower but it’s the same thing with the emotions

10:37and that negative toxic junk that we put inside ourselves that we don’t deal with

10:43so they could on stage at sticker shock and next thing you know they’re crying and they don’t even realize why but then

10:49the realization cames oh my mom my dad said I’m never good enough that counselor at school said you’re not

10:55College material you can’t go to Oxford you’re not good enough it’s like and they carry this and they don’t realize

11:00that it hinders their decision it shifts their lens and they don’t become the person that God created them to be so

11:07that happened to me and I just realized that I didn’t I realized that I didn’t realize how much junk I had inside of me

11:13right I realized it I’m like man I never realized I had all this inside of me so I talked about it in my book because

11:19people say Daniel why are you so greedy why you talking about money it’s like well it’s not about the money it’s about

11:25the person that you become on your journey of becoming a millionaire it’s on it’s the person you become the

11:31character that you that’s develop the maturity you have to go through right the traits that have to be developed in

11:37you and then yes money is important so many people think money is not important but the foundation of who has to be in

11:44you right who you have to become the future you has to come to the Forefront the future you has to be built the

11:51future you and we’ve all known somebody Kim who overnight success whether it’s

11:56in the states or in the UK they they go go from zero to 100 and next you know

12:01they’re they’re successful overnight in a year or two but then they can’t sustain it because they lose it within

12:06another year why because they didn’t have the character they didn’t have the maturity they didn’t have the right

12:12foundation so they self- implode and they self-destruct and they lose

12:18everything they ever had yeah we we say it so often don’t we because we have got

12:24to become the person that we want to be to be ready to to receive whatever it is

12:29and I think often we do think like we shouldn’t talk about money and and money is a bad thing but actually you need

12:36money to be able to live in the first instance but you also need it to be able to have more impact because if you’ve

12:41got more money you can help more people can’t you so there kind of like you can’t do one you can’t do one without

12:47the other um and I was going to ask but I think you already started to explain some of it so what was your motivation

12:53around writing Millionaire Mind God I didn’t want to write it true

12:59story I had I I wrote my first book you were born to fly which is right here I wrote the book you were born to fly then

13:06I wrote my second book sticker shock and then as as I was there God started putting this new book in my and I

13:12started I thought about writing that you are worthy and deserving is what I was going to write it but then I didn’t and

13:18then next thing you know God says I want you to write a book about money so I started writing this book and it it was

13:24totally going the wrong way it was like not good at all I sent it to my editor

13:29and she it just it didn’t work out I threw it away introduction in first chapter I’m like so I just I said you

13:37know what I’ll write it in the winter time this was about two years ago in 2020 uh in

13:422021 and I and then my wife woke up one day says Hey God says don’t forget to finish your book I’m like okay well then

13:50a month later I didn’t even do nothing goes around the holidays Christmas time again she says look God’s not telling

13:55you God’s not asking you God is telling you now now to finish that book and I said God if you want me to do this book

14:02you need to show me cuz I can’t get it and I think I was blocked with just with the idea of talking about money and next

14:09thing you know just in prayer right because one of the things I do every morning in my morning routine is I spend 30 minutes to an hour with God and he

14:15downloads the strategies he downloads the ideas and the idea came to The Millionaire Mind next thing you know it

14:23was it was phenomenal it was just um little by little it started coming together so then I had a big speaking

14:30engagement with John Maxwell in January and we sold out of our book The you were

14:35born a fly we sold out of it all we had was just the the mockup of this one now

14:41we had 75 pre-orders going back to Texas and now I was forced to finish the book

14:47him and by God’s grace that pressure kind of made me finish the book and it was just it was amazing it was it was a

14:53phenomenal feeling and there you go the book turned into an online program now

14:58we have an an online program called the makings of a Millionaire Mind 27 powerful modules and then after we were

15:04done with that God said you’re not done yet I want you to have live boot camps so now now in every May and every

15:10November we have a live boot camp where we have like 40 to 50 people that come in from all over the country and people

15:16don’t realize this is that there’s a spiritual element to money and and here

15:22in America if if you look at a dollar bill look I’ll show you if you look at a dollar bill here on this h $100 bill you see

15:29the words in God we trust and people don’t realize that God is the foundation

15:35of our wealth and they everybody mostly everybody I want say mostly mostly

15:42everybody they miss that spiritual aspect of money and they say them things

15:47like right you live in England I live in I I live in I live in San Antonio so I’m going to I’ve never met you before prior

15:54to being on your show right we’ve kind of collaborated a little bit but to have a real conversation we’ve never had a glass of tea so I’m going to start a

16:01sentence and I want you to finish it can we do that money doesn’t grow on trees who do

16:09you think you all the early bird gets the them how do you know that and you’re on

16:15the other side of the world because we tell ourselves these things all the time don’t we and we make

16:22them we make them true I I say to my little girl my little girl’s seven and

16:27she’ll come home and she’ll go H mommy I’m rubbish at drawing trees I’m like don’t ever ever say you’re rubbish

16:34because you say it you’ll believe it whatever we’re saying to ourselves will become our reality and and and then we

16:41pass it around don’t we and it and we don’t ever question our own reality well

16:46the thing is think about it you’re in England and I’m on the other side of the world we’re conditioned to think in the

16:53poverty Consciousness in this world they train us to think as employees they train us

16:58to think as a worker as a factory worker back in the day and and then this is the biggest SL that we’ve been told and and

17:06and I and I think we we we we’ve all heard this before and especially in school in grade school they really get

17:11to us and they think and they’re smart right whoever created these these these these these word tracks I call them to

17:17keep us in poverty they say Kim sticks and stones may break my bones but words

17:22will never hurt me and what hurts more than anything else in this world that’s

17:28or and human beings carry words more with them than a broken leg a

17:34broken arm they carry that broken heart forever the leg will heal but many times

17:40the heart doesn’t heal because the words that were said by a father by a mother by a Lover by a

17:47friend and and so we’re trained to think in a poverty Consciousness so in the makings of a miloner mind it’s really

17:53the concept of okay what’s the foundation I got to build and and one thing that I realized is this is that

17:58many business owners they don’t succeed because they have a poor self-image of themselves yeah so so so your your

18:06self-image is the lid for your business for your life for everything because

18:12like you just said right if the culture stinks well then you’re the you’re the problem the leader well many times those

18:19are insecure leaders because they have a poor self-image and that’s the business owner that’s the leader that’s going to

18:26be micromanaging okay or instead of giving Kim credit or Daniel credit they want to take the credit for themselves

18:31because of their little complex they have of inferiority and and it just

18:37that’s many businesses don’t make it that way they just don’t they don’t Thrive and survive it’s so true isn’t it because we

18:44we do become what we think about and you know I spent I spent many years really struggling with a self-image and totally

18:52disconnected um to what other people saw um and so somebody wants to gave me this

18:58exercise to do which was to go and ask friends family colleagues a couple of things that you that they admire you for

19:06and a couple of things where you get in your own way and I really recommend people do it because when they came back

19:11I had almost unanimously people said you Brave and fearless and as was I I’ve got no idea what you’re talking about I’m

19:18gonna have to explain that to me because I do not know what where you’re getting that from and I’m currently in my 36th

19:24house since I left home and I’m like you will literally up sticks and move any where where you know nobody for a job

19:30that you’re not even 100% certain you can do and they said that’s Brave and fearless and oh I Al I thought you all

19:35thought I was flighty and a little bit stupid and it was a real turning point for me which was imagine what my life

19:42would be like if I lived by their labels instead of mine because it was the same life it was demonstrating the same way

19:48but our view of it our P perspective was so very different and I think it it is

19:54all in it’s all in the mindset isn’t it I was as I say to scholar you know you win the game here before you win the

20:00game here you’ve got to do that work to know that you’re ready haven’t you yeah

20:06well the thing is that when people say money is not important what they’re really saying is

20:13they don’t understand it because money is the most misunderstood right money is the most misunderstood object yet it is

20:20the most desired object it’s kind of like it’s kind of like if you’re going to a dance and and and and Daniel sees a

20:27beautiful young lady there in high school and he wants everybody wants to ask her to dance but right everybody

20:33wants to ask her to dance but they’re scared to cuz what if she says no or or what if cim and her girlfriends go to

20:38the to to the to the sock up to the summer dance in it’s high school and there’s a handsome boy and like go I

20:44wish he would ask me to dance and no don’t ask me because I don’t know what right it’s it’s like we want that but we

20:49kind of resist it in the same way and that’s the same way money is is like we want it but we have the misunderstanding

20:56and the truth is this is that it takes takes money to pay your employees it takes money to grow a business it takes

21:02money to give to God’s Kingdom so when you understand you know what money is important I’m like okay well and then

21:08and then and then you got some other people that say well well no love is important no one’s talking about love

21:14right people deflect to love all of a sudden well money’s love is more important yeah but okay go pay your car

21:19payment with love and tell me what the bank says like it’s it’s so stupid right it’s dumb when they I mean they say

21:25things that they don’t even understand what they’re saying oh no All I Need Is Love well yeah okay great go be homeless

21:31and tell me if Love’s going to pay your bill and feed you but they don’t people just say things and um in America that

21:39they don’t they don’t think about it sometimes and it’s it’s it’s it shows their a and they’re ignorance of not

21:45knowing right not they don’t even understand themselves they say it just to say it and why do they say it because

21:51the masses are saying it because everybody else is saying it and just going back to the way we were role playing earlier with those little

21:57sayings right sticks and stones may break my but why does how does everybody know it because everybody says it in grade school yeah and it’s it’s so true

22:06isn’t it and the we don’t we don’t often really give

22:11thought to um what we’re saying and the impact

22:17that’s going to have and again sometimes we just change it slightly my little girl came back from school and somebody

22:25been really mean to her um and she was very upset about it and we talked through why she was upset and said I

22:30wonder what had gone wrong in their life and she went what do you mean by me and I said well if someone’s been mean to you chances are they’re upset themselves

22:38um because we deflect we we move it out I said so if they’re mean to you again tomorrow why don’t you ask them if they want a cuddle so she did so the next day

22:46she went and she went I said to them would you like a hug and she said they thought about it for a moment and said

22:51yes please and we gave him a hug and and now we’ve had a lovely day playing together and I was like yeah cuz we

22:56assume that actually they’re just mean and they’re not very nice because that’s what we’ve been told to assume but what

23:04happens when we get curious with ourselves and with each other around what’s driving that what’s happening in

23:10your world today that is making you feel like this is a good way because I don’t

23:16think people don’t hurt us on purpose the fact is they’re probably not thinking about us and we’re collateral

23:22damage to whatever is going on in their own world and and once we get curious

23:27about that we can find better connections can’t we well I’m going to give you a story I think that will help

23:33exactly illustrate what you just said so ladies and gentlemen imagine just me and Kim are working in her garden and she’s

23:40counting some beautiful rose bushes and all of a sudden as we’re planning all these 10 rose bushes Kim gets pricked

23:48and she’s like I said Kim we got to go to the to the clinic let’s go take out that thorn Kim’s like no it’s okay it’s

23:54good I’ll I’ll just let’s finish it so we have a long day ahead of us so 3 hours later we’re finished with the

24:00Roses they look beautiful but now that thorn is an infection in your

24:06finger and right it’s irritating you now there’s a little bit of pain there and

24:12no problem at all so I said you know what Kim let’s go have some let’s go get some um some fish and chips okay so we

24:17go get fish and chips we h a cab and we go next thing you know we’re in line we’re in the queue and then somebody

24:24hits your hand by accident but it’s it’s your finger that has the thorn are you going to overreact

24:31by accident because the pain that’s already there see and and that’s what happens is

24:37as human beings we carry these storms with us that we never pull out they get

24:42infected they have pus and soon as somebody touches us we overreact just

24:47like that thorn that we never took out in our finger and it wasn’t it wasn’t the person’s fault that tapped into your

24:54hand it was the fact that you never took the thorn out and that’s why you reacted

24:59the way you did I love that what a great story because we do we we keep those things don’t we know I wish you you get

25:08into an argument with somebody and you start bringing up the fact that they didn’t empty the dishwasher in 2002 and they’re like really you’re still going

25:15there because we don’t ever let it go do we we don’t ever just like release it

25:21look at it learn from it and then release it because it if not it just

25:26becomes baggage that carry around um and continues to be infected so that

25:32actually our if we think about the kind of our level of of emotional tolerance

25:38if we’ve constantly got a full CUPE anyone comes near us we’re going to lash out because we’ve not given ourselves

25:45any capacity to respond differently um and I always but but think about what

25:51you’re saying that’s exactly it goes with your show what we’re talking about

25:56right now you have a full cup it keeps you from being authentic

26:01you have that thorn in your finger it keeps you from being the authentic you in return it affects you and keeps you

26:09from having achievements so you’re never going to have authentic achievements if you always leave those thorns in your

26:15finger you never pluck them out and deal with them if you always walking around with a full cup of water you’re going to

26:22spill it you know you are and you’re not able to be your authentic you and in in return it keeps you from achieving what

26:29God has for you that’s so so true and I think you yeah

26:34it’s it I think we grow through our pain when we go through our pain and often we

26:40don’t go through it we we kind of like we do I mean we have the experience but we don’t go back to it and go why did I

26:47experience that what was it what was it there to teach me or how was it redirecting me what was it that I needed

26:53to do differently to learn or to and similar to yourself Daniel when shared

26:59earlier that sometimes you look in the mirror and you don’t like what looks back that’s when you have to change that

27:04you’ve got to you’ve got to go in and go well if I don’t like what’s looking back the only person that can change that is me um and I think often we

27:13um we blame other people so I can’t do this because people will say this or say

27:19that or say the other and actually what we really mean is we’re going to say that because that’s that’s what we’re

27:25worried about and so we’ve got to get past being comfortable with what we’re going to say about ourselves and stop blaming

27:31it on other people that may or may not have the same opinion yeah I I I would

27:37encourage your audience to really self assess and and and write

27:42this question down because the quality of our life is determined by the quality of the questions we ask myself

27:49ourselves where in my life am I holding on to resentment who in my life am I holding

27:56on to resentment against and and people don’t realize how much

28:01resentment they have inside of them they say oh I forgave them yeah but how much resentment do you have because resentment and unforgiveness are two

28:07different things sometimes because resentment is more of a unforgiveness you can kind of you know right because

28:13it’s a deeper but resentment is kind sometimes it blinds us because it’s it’s kind of a shallow but once you have

28:19resentment after resentment it can get pretty right you see somebody just roll your eyes and it’s like it’s it’s it’s

28:25you’re not aware it’s there yeah I really want to encourage your audience to write down where in my life do I have

28:33resentment and who may I be holding on to resentment towards and just ask yourself that question and write it down

28:40and put your name there right and and audience put your name there so I would the exercise would say Daniel who may

28:46you be holding on to resentment towards Kim who in your life may you have

28:52resentment yeah yeah and when you do that it might not come up that instance but I guarantee you one of my clients

28:58was arguing with me that’s so stupid nope the next day he was crying he goes I didn’t realize how much resentment I

29:04had towards my stepmom great questions because already it gets your it gets your brain thinking

29:11of and it makes you look at it from a different perspective and I agree you know our life is fueled by the quality

29:18of the questions we ask and if you when I love when you get that question and you see that it unlocks something for

29:25people or you see that it unlocks it unlocks it for you um because it’s made you see it from a from a different angle

29:33from a you different opportunity to go ah you know that’s why they say there’s always three versions of the truth isn’t

29:39there my my version your version of what actually happened we’re viewing it from a

29:44slightly different perspective and we’re viewing it through the lens of everything that’s happened to us before

29:50and our emotional brain responds 24 times faster than our thinking brain so

29:55we like to think that we’re brilliantly logical human beings but the fact is what happens is whatever is going on in

30:02our world we emotionally respond to it and then we React to what it made us

30:09feel um and often that can be the thing to pull us back isn’t it what’s actually happening and how did it make you feel

30:16because if you don’t ask those two you’re going to be over here responding with emotion and the facts over here are

30:23telling us a very different story yeah and those very things keep us in that Loop that keep us from becoming a

30:28millionaire like that unforgiveness resentment we Harbor those emotions and

30:34and you’d be surprised how many people once they have a block unlocked they realize like wow like that’s what’s

30:41keeping you because what happens is they start you start your business starts to start doing well well then you’re

30:47triggered from something else because you’re dealing with unresentful that you haven’t dealt with

30:54and you self-sabotage and you start arguing with your employees you argue with some somebody a customer and you

30:59kill yourself and it’s just like it’s a it’s a revolving Loop and your business

31:04is stuck at that level because you you as a human being you as a business owner

31:10you failed to deal with the real issues just just think about this right now on your side of the world they just

31:16finished building the the the tallest skyscraper ever in the world in Dubai everybody knows that but what

31:24people are failing to realize is that same building in Dubai it also has the

31:29deepest foundation in the world so the higher you go the deeper God needs to go in you to

31:38make sure you have the right foundation and many people don’t want to deal with those deeper issues that we’re talking

31:45about the resentment the shame The Grieving whatever it is that’s unresolved there that’s what’s hindering

31:53people from going to the next level in businesses oh so so i’ not thought about

31:58that for the foundation but it is so true isn’t it we’ve got to have we’ got to have a solid foundation to enable us

32:04to have the growth and as in as human beings we’ve got to do that by going in and doing the inner work going in and

32:10looking at the bits we didn’t want to look at the bits you know to your point that you brushed under the carpet to the

32:15point I know certainly in my life before I started looking at it the carpet was was like you there wasn’t a lot of space

32:20between the carpet and the ceiling there was that much stuff that got brushed underneath it you had to crouch and so

32:27you have to go back and and and look at those don’t you so that you can get rid of it and create the space to receive

32:34what it is that you wanting to to achieve in life yeah and and the mistake that we make especially right and I can

32:39say this because I’m a Believer the biggest mistakes Believers say is oh I already I already forgave I already did that yeah duh that was for level two but

32:47now you’re level three guess what now you got to deal with deeper stuff because if God was to show us everything

32:53that was wrong with us Kim our heads would explode and we would ourselves like it’s just it’s too much too much

33:00junk that we haven’t that it’s it’s it’s it’s humanly impossible we would really ex I mean it just we don’t have the

33:06capacity for that so so as God is growing us and maturing us well then

33:12he’s showing you it’s kind of like the best this is the best way to describe it ladies and gentlemen because you’re like Daniel you’re I don’t I don’t believe

33:18what you’re talking about I’m gonna prove it to you 10 karat gold is a level

33:24one it’s gold but it’s not as p is 14 karat gold so to get to 14 karat gold to

33:31level two in your life and business it has to be heated more it has to be taken

33:38off those there’s more impurities in there it’s not as pure as as as as uh right 10 is not as as pure as 14 but

33:45then you go to 18 karat gold well now it’s heated even more it’s pure it’s

33:51stronger well that’s level three in business so no matter how high you go

33:56and the ultimate is Right 21 karat gold it’s pure gold compared to level to 10

34:03karat totally totally almost double the price per carrot a lot purer stronger

34:10well guess what that’s the same thing in levels in your life and business and you gotta right if gold has to be heated and

34:17purified to get stronger what makes you think as a human being you don’t have to be and that’s the mistake

34:23make I love that what great what a great um analogy it always reminds me I always would say to people you know diamonds

34:29are just stones that did really well under pressure because they had to be put

34:34under pressure to become diamonds I could literally chat you on this forever could you tell us more though about the

34:41Mari strong Foundation because I want to make sure that we share that with the audience as well yeah so our website is

34:47is is at the Mong foundation.com and U my wife is a breast cancer survivor so

34:52we have uh we have a Women’s Conference called Finding Your in your beauty and we bring bring in women to really

34:58encourage them and and and edify them and just a community where they can just tell themselves that they’re beautiful

35:04cuz when my wife had a double masectomy she didn’t feel beautiful so with the M strong Foundation we helped to help we

35:10we raise money in our conference to help women that maybe need help with a chemotherapy or with the payment because

35:16when we were going through the Journey people don’t realize that even with insurance here in America you’re still

35:22spending a th000 $2,000 a month on doctor visits aside from everything else

35:27you’re paying and everybody said we’ll help you in 90 days I’m like well hell in 90 days we ain’t going to need your help it’s not going to matter like I

35:34need your help today so even if even if a woman that has breast cancer needs help with a $100 gas card we we we

35:41supplement that with through the M strong foundation and I’m so proud of my wife because she’s really taking

35:46ownership and embraced and and embodied the identity of of that’s her her nonprofit so she’ll be doing a lot more

35:53um events with that and so it’s it’s beautiful because even when you help a woman pay her light bill that’s $300

36:01like they there’s a lot of people that need help and we try to do our best that we can with that I love that would be

36:09great to have her on if she would be up for it so we can share more about that with the audience because I think it’s

36:15such an it’s such an amazing gift that she’s giving back because it’s a lot about people being heard and listened to

36:23and respected and I think at our core that’s what we all want isn’t it to be listened to understood and respected

36:29doesn’t mean we never disagree but we disagree we don’t disrespect and I think

36:34um hearing people in their times of trouble is a real Act of Love yeah what

36:42the I I think I’ll say women because she’s a woman she never realized how

36:47strong she is yeah and and I think even even women I mean we understand that

36:53women can tolerate more pain than men cuz y’all have babies right we don’t have babies so we’ll never that hey we give you that one

37:00because y’all y’all bed us but sometimes in life as as you you

37:06mentioned the word labels we have these labels that are on us and my wife now she’s just a totally different woman

37:12than she was in 2017 you know she’s more confident she’s more stronger but but

37:19she does it now in in in in a Godly way where she realizes that wow like I can

37:25do more and many women they don’t feel beautiful they just I mean it’s the

37:30reality and I think that when when God put it in my wife’s heart look at your inner beauty not at your outer beauty

37:37and you realize that you’re beautiful that God doesn’t make mistakes I think it just helps women

37:43understand that no matter what word someone may have told you you’re still beautiful in

37:48God’s eyes and God doesn’t make mistakes and to carry that at a deeper level so I’m really proud of my wife

37:55that she’s kind of grown into that woman to toage It’s amazing And it’s so true you

38:01know I say to my little girl all the time you’re beautiful because you’re beautiful on the inside and Beauty shines through um and I think it does

38:08you know inner beauty shines through people’s eyes and you know don’t you you

38:14get a a good feeling around uh people who have got a beautiful soul yes so

38:22it’s it’s it’s just I’m I’m proud of her now she does a little bit of speaking on Al and she’s working on her first book

38:28actually we’re doing our first Anthology called Finding Your in your beauty here I have it right here as a matter of fact

38:36cool so we’re bringing in some amazing women and uh we have 20 women that are

38:43going to share their perspective of what does finding your inner beauty mean to you so there’s any women out there that

38:48want to join us um we have an amazing opportunity right now for Christmas time where uh we have a special it’s $1,000 a

38:56chapter so we love for you to come and and uh be a part of our journey and and just grow

39:01with us and as we share the beauty of women from the inside out amazing I love

39:07that Daniel I could chat to you all day but I’m very conscious of our time I would love for

39:13us to have another conversation but before we go if you could just share with the audience if you were able to go

39:19back and give the younger you some advice what would it

39:25be h first from the GetGo I think once I put God first once God became the CEO of

39:32my business and then family and then business everything changed and if you go to my LinkedIn profile it says Daniel

39:40Gomez is the president because God’s truly the CEO and once I made him the CEO our business doubled doubled again

39:47and it’s this year we had a record-breaking year in 20123 during a recession as they say in

39:53the United States this gu’s not limited to the world’s economy because I’m of God’s economy so I would encourage your

39:59audience to put God first as their CEO and watch the magic of what he’s going to do I love that Daniel thank you so

40:07much you’ve added so much value I will ensure that in the notes below uh all the ways people can get in touch with

40:14you and connect further to learn more about how they too can create the life

40:20they want yes and if you’re in the states text the word millionaire that’s millionaire to 210

40:2794250 59 that’s 210 94250 59 and look me up Daniel Gomez

40:34inspires is my brand on Instagram and Facebook so thank you for having me Kim it’s been a blessing pleasure take
